The first thing that I noticed and liked was the amount of emotion displayed in the bird’s face. To me, birds don’t really show much emotion but that may just be because I’m not practiced at drawing them.
The emotion, like its feeling remorse and sadness, but there is a tiny little light in there that speaks hope.

I absolutely LOVE how you did the half monochrome-half coloured thing. Shows two different worlds. two different views. Lovely touch.

And those wings are magnificent.

What caught my immediate attention was the detail in the facial features and the soft, almost sad/gentle expression in the eyes. The bird's posture is meek and unsure and the contrast around it works nicely with the other colours used. Really admire the detail on the feet and the way you do feathers!
